    The other side of this has a steering wheel head 6. By tightening the steering wheel 6, the washer is clamped against the tube so that it can be fixed both to its axial position and also to its angle of rotation.
    The tube 5 extends from the table bracket upwards and merges via a tube bend in a horizontal section which in turn ends in a tray bracket 7. The tray bracket comprises a vertically upwardly facing cylindrical hole in which a pin with a corresponding dimension can be pushed down. The pin is in turn attached to a support washer 8 which in turn is attached to the underside of a washer 10 for food. The washer is rotatable relative to the washer bracket and can be fixed in the desired position with a washer knob 9 which in a threaded inner end can be screwed into a centrally threaded hole in the washer pin so that the washer is pressed against the bracket.
    The angled tube 5 has a sufficient height to allow the necessary height adjustment and is long enough in the horizontal direction to be placed next to the user so that the table bracket does not get in the way of the user. The tray can be swung over the table or protrude more or less over the edge of the table.
    By loosening the three knobs, the device can be divided into three easily manageable parts: washer, tube with washer bracket, and the table bracket.
    The angled tube that supports the tray is subjected to a drawer effect in the cylindrical hole when loading food on the tray, i.e. under load, the holding frictional forces increase so that the risk of the pipe sliding downwards decreases. Even when adjusting the desired height for the washer, this drawer effect helps to maintain the height position until clamping is done with the steering wheel.
    The clamping knobs shown in the above example have a relatively large diameter and can also, if deemed necessary, have threads with a small pitch so that it becomes easy to achieve sufficient axing forces. Instead of the knobs specified in the above examples, bolts or screws can be used which are provided with arms which are pivotable about an axis perpendicular to the lumbar axis of the thread. Eccentric-type clamping means are also conceivable for providing quick locking.
    The device according to the invention enables a relatively elevated placement of a plate of glass, cutlery, etc. and is both very stable, adjustable and reliable so that people with a stiff neck or back can eat comfortably. In addition, no major forces are required for assembly and disassembly, which for many can be of great importance

    Device for use at tables, characterized in that it comprises a table bracket for attachment to a table edge, and a disc or tray on which plates, glasses and cutlery can be placed and in addition tray support means which are adjustable for adjusting and locking the position of the tray, respectively. relative to the table.

    Device according to claim 1, characterized in that means for adjusting the height and angle position of the tray relative to the table bracket comprise a cylindrical hole in the table bracket during assembly and a bar or tube displaceable therein which can be fixed by means of clamping means, and that from the tube or rod pushes out an arm which in turn carries the washer.

    Device according to claim 2, characterized in that the member or rod clamping means comprises an elongate washer which at one end is pivotable relative to the table bracket and at the other end can be actuated by a self-locking clamping means, for example in the form of a screw and that a intermediate area of the clamping means can be pressed against the pipe or rod.

    Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the food tray is rotatable about a vertical axis relative to the supporting members during use, and is adjustable to its rotational position.

    Device according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the washer is detachable.
